Nori Tamagoyaki

Tomagoyaki is a Japanese fried and rolled egg sushi dish. Mine included napa cabbage and toasted nori. Fillings can vary. I suggest cooking internal vegetation before adding it to the Tamagoyaki. The easiest way is to pop it in the microwave for a minute.

Instructions:

- Add some vegetable or sesame oil to a frying pan, and let it heat up

- Whisk 3 eggs, 1 tbsp of good quality japanese soy sauce, and 1 tbsp sugar together

-Add eggs to pan when pan is hot

-While eggs are still liquatious, add vegetables to the edge of one side of the pan, add 1 sheet of nori on top

- Cook Eggs until mostly cooked, (lift edge of eggs and rotate pan to get large sections of egg to cook faster)

-Use a spatula to roll the eggs, starting at the side you placed your vegetables

-Remove from pan, and let sit for a minute or so (any uncooked egg should be cooked by the point)

- Cut into slices like sushi

-Enjoy

Homemade Pasta and Raviolli

homemade pasta is suprisingly easy to make (although a bit messy).

3/4 c flour to 1 egg

I made 3 batches with whole wheat flour and found I needed an extra egg.

Raviolli were filled with crabmeat, parm, feta, and provalone

Thai Drinks

I stopped by a local asian market and looked around. I ended up purchasing Thai tea and O-Liean (a coffee based drink). I brewed both in my espresso machine and the result was great. The thai tea tasted esactly like it should. The O-liean is good. it has a familiar coffee flavor, but soybeans and rice are also added. It makes a nice thick brew.
